Tata Motors has revealed the Tata Safari Red Dark Edition at the ongoing Bharat Mobility Global Expo in Delhi, showcasing a new #DARK personality that exudes sportiness and a magnetic profile. The exterior of the car features an Oberon Black paint scheme, accompanied by Charcoal Black R18 alloy wheels with red calipers, adding attractive red highlights on the fender bezels, fog lamp inserts, and brake calipers.
Inside, the Tata Safari Red Dark Edition boasts a dual-tone Carmelian Red and Steel Black theme with red leather upholstery and dark chrome inserts. The dashboard is finished in Steel Black with a surrounding red LED strip for added flair.
Features
This top-end automatic variant of the SUV supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity through its 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The interior also includes a 10.25-inch fully digital driver display, a premium 10-speaker JBL sound system, a panoramic sunroof, a gesture-enabled tailgate, an air purifier, ventilated front and rear seats, and a 6-way adjustable driver’s seat.
In terms of safety, the Tata Safari Red Dark Edition is equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) technology, 7 airbags, electronic stability control, ABS with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), and more.
The powertrain remains unchanged, featuring a 2.0L diesel engine paired with a 6-speed automatic gearbox, generating 170PS of power and 350Nm of torque.
Launch Details
While the official launch date has not been disclosed, anticipation is high for the Tata Safari Red Dark Edition to hit the roads soon. The price is expected to carry a slight premium over the regular top-end dark edition, with a showroom price of INR 27.34 lakhs.
